Bowling Green didn’t get to play their 1st 2 games of the season until last week, but the Purples and Katy Smiley did not disappoint in their debut! In 2 wins, Smiley averaged 17.5 PPG and 6.5 RPG while shooting 57% from the field and 58% from 3. After graduating multiple players who are now playing at the next level, Smiley is leading the way for BG in the start of her junior season. If you haven’t heard her name before, you better get used to hearing it now! She is a truly talented player who is going to open a lot of eyes this year.
