Rise Up 606 Player of the Week

Each week throughout this season, Rise Up will feature a Player of the Week from each of the 4 main area codes across the state. We just wrapped up the ninth week of the season and the votes are in!! Read below about Trinity Rowe, the 606 Player of the Week for this week.


If you haven’t watched Rowe play before, you better make the trip to see her soon because she is one of the best point guards you can find. Her vision and basketball IQ are truly special and she has been a huge part of her team’s success. In week nine, Rowe helped lead Pikeville to the All A State Tournament Championship game. The Southern Miss commit was truly stuffing the stat sheet throughout the tournament. Here is what she finished with in each of the Panthers 4 games:

  • – 21 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals on 8-of-12 (66.7%) shooting from the field and 3-of-5 (60%) shooting from 3 (61-41 win over Harlan)
  • – 21 points, 6 steals, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists on 8-of-12 (66.7%) shooting from the field and 2-of-5 (40%) shooting from 3 (69-41 win over Crittenden County)
  • – 14 points, 11 assists, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal while going 3-for-6 (50%) from 3 (59-52 win over Owensboro Catholic)
  • – 21 points, 4 assists, and 1 rebound on 9-of-12 (75%) shooting from the field and 3-of-4 (75%) shooting from 3 (55-56 loss to Covington Holy Cross)

Rowe has been making an excellent case for 2024 Miss Kentucky Basketball and you can expect to hear her name a lot when it comes to any conversation regarding that topic. She is a leader on the court and someone who contributes for her team in so many different ways.

Rowe received 207 votes to win the 606 poll this week.
