Each week throughout this season, Rise Up will feature a Player of the Week from each of the 4 main area codes across the state. We just wrapped up the first week of the season and the votes are in!! Read below about Addison Terry, the 606 Player of the Week for this week.

Terry had one of the best season openers of anyone in the state. Her team may have fallen short to Boyd County, one of the top teams in Kentucky, but the sophomore was certainly the Lady Owls bright spot in that game. She finished the game with a huge double-double, scoring 30 points and grabbing 14 rebounds along with a steal. She went 6-of-11 (54.5%) from 3 and 12-of-24 (50%) overall. Terry’s team bounced back from that loss to pick up a regional win over Lee County. Watch for Terry this season as she looks to continue building on her impressive start to her sophomore season!
