Rise Up Player of the Week: Heaven Bailey

Heaven Bailey is a current 8th grader and 2 year starter for her Varsity team at Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School in Montgomery, Alabama. She has been making major waves on the court, helping her team finish as a top 10 team in 3A last season as a 7th grader. This year, she has been working to help them be seen as one of the top 4A team’s this season. They are poised to make a deep run in the playoffs, while being viewed as one of the favorites to win the area.

Despite only being an 8th grader, Bailey is her team’s leader in assists and steals. She is also the 2nd leading scorer. Last week, her team went 2-0. In game 1, she finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, and 6 steals. Bailey followed that up with another double-double in game 2, finishing with 10 points, 10 steals, 6 assists, and 3 rebounds. She is averaging 10 PPG, 6.8 SPG, 5.3 APG, and 4 RPG.
