Dea Bradley

Each week throughout this season, Rise Up will feature a Player of the Week from each of the 4 main area codes across the state. We just wrapped up the third week of the season and the votes are in!! Read below about Dea Bradley, the 270/364 Player of the Week for this week.

Dea Bradley had a huge week for Hart County, scoring a school record 54 points in one game and following that up with a 40 point game. Her team came out victorious in both games and Bradley was doing much more than just putting up big time scoring numbers. In addition to her 54 points, she finished with 8 rebounds, 6 steals, and an assist while shooting 73% overall and 81% from the free throw line. In the next game, she finished with a double-double after grabbing 10 rebounds on top of her 40 points, and also went 4-for-4 from 3 and 6-for-6 from the free throw line. Through 7 games, the Lady Raiders are 6-1 and Dea is averaging 33 PPG and 5.7 RPG while shooting 63.6% from the field, 53.8% from 3, and 79.6% from the free throw line. She is already all over the state’s leaderboards, including currently ranking as the top scorer in the state. The 5th Region has some tough players, but Bradley is making a really strong argument early in the season for why she should be named Player of the Year and their 2024 Miss Kentucky Basketball candidate.

Bradley received 44% of the votes to win the 270/364 poll.
