Run 4 Roses is one of the largest girl’s basketball tournaments around. It brings in thousands of teams from the US and beyond. We walked around the 80+ courts at the Kentucky Expo Center for six days taking note of players who stood out to us. When we say stand out, we really mean someone who caught our eye for one reason or another. That may be a team’s best player or it may be a player whose effort made it impossible for us to not notice them. Below you can read about some of those players that stood out to us throughout the event.

Please note: Some of the write-ups below were already featured on X (@riseupsports1) during the event. Please let us know if any of the information below is incorrect and we will get it fixed as soon as possible.

Kylie Alvin

2025 ETA Thunder Sizemore | Class of 2026
Handles were super quick and tough to defend. Recognized gaps on the court and attacked them well. Made good passes off the bounce. Knocked down shots. Played tough defense.

Haley Combs

2025 ETA Thunder Ice Campos | Class of 2026
Very smart plays. Made great reads in transition. Creates good looks. Very good ball handling skills and can handle a lot of pressure. Always recognized when to the ball to set up the offense or get her team settled.

Miyah Courtney

2025 TN Flight E40 | Class of 2026
Difference maker. You could really feel her impact with her playmaking and scoring abilities. Can handle the ball with pressure. Excellent outside shot. Good drives and finished with contact.

Maliyah Glasper

2025 ETA Thunder Fire Campos | Class of 2026
It was impossible to not notice her impact when she was on the court. Good job running the point and attacking the gaps in the defense. Crafty drives and nice kicks to open teammates. Made things very difficult defensively with quick hands. To put it simply, consistently a difference maker on both ends of the court.

Callie Hinder

Mountain West Premier 17U EYBL | Class of 2026
Elite height and length:  Runs the floor well in transition for her size.  Good athleticism.  Excellent shot blocker & shot contester.  High IQ screener who gets herself & teammates open.
-KEVIN CLANCY

Libby Abdur Rahim

Georgia Queen Elite Black | Class of 2026
Aggressive with a high motor. She tends to use her size to draw fouls which poses a problem for the other teams. She won’t be beat when it comes to effort, she gives 110% every play. Favors the inside but can hit shots from mid/3 when needed. A type of player you want on your side.
-ETHAN GRANTZ

Ava Raymond

2025 Louisiana Lady Aces | Class of 2026
Nice finishes around the basket, including with contact. Showed a ton of versatility on both ends of the court. Made it very hard for offense to get the ball to whoever she was guarding with active hands. Attacked gaps well on drives. When playing inside the perimeter, moved really well into openings.

Justine Tcheuhchoua

2025 Nebraska Hoops Elite E40 | Class of 2026
Hidden gem! There is not a single thing she can’t do on the court. The game runs through her command. Her ability to drive through contact and create shots for herself is next to none. Affects the game tremendously on both offense and defense. A true 2 way player that can score from all 3 levels and defend any position.
-ETHAN GRANTZ

Xyanna Walton

Mac Irvin Godfather 17U | Class of 2026
Good size and showed a lot of versatility. Can knock down the 3 or get to the rim. Can take contact and finish strong. Good movement without the ball and strong screens. Has the ability to really catch fire from deep.

Megan Wresien

D4S-CT 2026 | Class of 2026
Makes the defense pick her up almost immediately after she passes half court because she can really knock them down from deep and will make them pay if they don’t pick her up. Handled the ball well. Quick passes thinking a play ahead. Showed the ability to play every guard position effectively. Good closeouts and moved feet well defensively.

Stella Ziogas

2025 Team Melious Lightning Gold NE2K | Class of 2026
Very high IQ. Made some really smart plays with the ball. Very unselfish and always looking to create for teammates. Great job recognizing when to change speeds and push pace. Active defensively. Nice ball handling skills and consistently able to get a step on defenders. Good outside shooter and had some strong floaters when defense stepped over on drives.
