GRC hosted the KABC Bluegrass Cardinal Classic on June 12-14, 2025. This is a scholastic live period event that gives high school teams the chance to play in front of college coaches in June. I got the chance to watch over 30 different teams compete across the 3 day event. To catch as many teams and players as possible, I was typically only able to see either half of a game or one full game for each team. However, I made note of the players that grabbed my attention in those games. Below you can see the 2026 players that caught my eye. These are listed in alphabetical order by last name.

Gabby Karle

Ashland | 5'6 | CG

So much toughness. Plays fearless and is a really good leader for her team. Gets the offense set up and recognized when to push the pace and when to slow things down. Applied great pressure defensively.

Taylor King

Rockcastle County | 5'9 | PG

King is an excellent floor general who the defense has to respect as a scorer as well. Can fill up a stat sheet and score in tough ways. Broke down gaps in defense, finished well at the rim, knocked down shots, and made plays to get teammates open. Handles the ball and contact well. Made a lot of hustle plays and rebounded strong.

Joslyn LaBordeaux-Humphrey

Notre Dame | 5'11 | G/F

Showed really nice touch inside. Good hands on both ends of the court. Crashed the boards strong and elevated to grab rebounds. Made some nice moves and scored in the final minutes of a close game.

Ava Moore

Assumption | 5'10 | CG

Constant communication on both ends of the court. Good moves inside and recognized mismatches. Knocked down outside and midrange shots too. Strong defensive presence. Effective fakes. Will be an X factor for a really good Assumption team.

Eulalia Powell

Assumption | 5'11 | PF

Solid presence down low and forces the help defense to make decisions with the ability to finish at the rim and active hands that were ready to catch the nice passes the Assumption guards were making. Finished well on both sides of the basket. Rebounded strong too.

Destiny Scott

North Hardin | 6'1 | F

Destiny has great length and uses it to be disruptive. Was really proving to be a true 3 level scoring threat, knocking down 3’s and finishing inside. Walking double-double with rebounding too.

Macy Spivey

Rockcastle County | 5'11 | G/F

Spivey is a player who has the length, athleticism, and skillset to help a team at the next level and is a huge difference maker for Rockcastle. Can pull-up and knock down shots over defenders and has a good variety of moves to create space from defenders. Smart shot selection and smart player overall. Plays hard and makes good reads. Very versatile on both ends of the court. Disruptive defensively.

Addison Terry

Montgomery County | 5'7 | CG

Sniper. Can knock down shots in a hurry and opponents don’t want to let her get hot. Also handles the ball well and showed good court vision. Delivered some nice passes. Really stood out throughout the game.

Anna Tinelli

Bullitt East | 5'7 | PG

One of the most crafty PG’s I saw. So shifty with the ball and sees the floor so well. Can deliver passes the length of the court and does a great job making plays for both herself and teammates. Moves well without the ball and constantly finds openings. Communicated really well both offensively and defensively.

Haylie Webb

Simon Kenton | 5'11 | PF

Can contribute in so many different ways. Not afraid of contact and will make things tough on whoever she’s guarding. Long and makes a big impact on both ends. Good moves down low and finishes well on both sides of the rim.

Brianna Wilkins

Sacred Heart | 5'10 | PG/SG

Such a crafty scorer and was finishing well at the rim on drives. Finished with contact converting multiple and-1 buckets. Huge threat in transition. Strong handles and just a really smooth player overall. Made really nice reads on both ends of the court. Going to be a steal in the 2026 class.

Teigh Yeast

GRC | 5'7 | CG

Consistent difference maker on the court. Can score a lot of points in a hurry and sometimes you don’t realize how much she’s actually scored until you look at the stat sheet. Scores in a variety of ways. Very athletic and active defensively with the ability to get a lot of steals and deflections.
