The Run 4 Roses Classic and Championship took place in Louisville on July 10-15, 2025. This is a live period event that brought in nearly 3,000 teams and over 2,000 college coaches. Throughout the tournament, as I was walking around to different courts, I took notes of players that stood out to me. Below you can see some of the 2027 players that caught my eye. These are listed in alphabetical order by last name.

Kaydence Kindle

Kentucky Premier 16U E40

Even in the short time I got to see her, she really stood out. Really effective in the post and can step out to knock down shots. Has great moves and recognizes when to kick it.

Finley Lewis

2027 Carolina Waves

Excellent size. Posted strong and held off defenders, and showed great touch around the basket. Grabbed a ton of rebounds.

Madison Lickert

Kentucky Premier 17U NE2K

Was making a difference on both ends of the court. Active hands defensively and drew help to create offensively while also showing ability to score herself.

Kaylee McElroy

2027 Kentuckiana Select E40

Just has a knack for getting to the ball on the defensive end, for loose balls, etc. Really smart player who can score at all 3 levels, but is very unselfish.

Shelbie Mills

2027 TN Flight Silver E40

Sniper from deep and one of the most consistent shooters I saw. Excellent passer and has great court vision – really high IQ PG. Got into passing lanes and made good reads defensively.

Brynli Pernell

Next Level 17U 3SSB

High IQ. Plays fearless and was still finishing strong at the rim against long defenders. Consistent outside shooting threat.

Kaleigh Potts

2027 Lexington Crossover La Familia

Made smart plays defensively to get stops. Can knock down 3’s in a hurry but can also finish in the paint/at the rim. Strong with the ball and made good passes. Handled pressure well.

Millison Sapp

2026 Missouri Select

Very solid PG play and handled any pressure that was thrown her way. Scored inside and out, and also made plays for teammates.

Alivia Scott

Kentucky Premier 16 EYBL

Super solid every time I watch her no matter who she’s playing with or against. Smart and reliable. Doesn’t try to do too much but makes the smart play consistently.
