Mikee had a big week as she collected her 500th career rebound! She also dropped 26 points in a win over Massac County (IL), including hitting four 3-pointers. Buchanan has been a staple for McCracken County throughout her high school career and was a big part of their success last season as they made it to the state championship game. After graduating some key pieces from that team, she has only elevated her game, helping the Lady Mustangs start out with a 13-2 record. Buchanan is their leading rebounder and 2nd leading scorer through the first 15 games, averaging 15.5 PPG and 5.9 RPG. She is shooting over 35% from the perimeter and 83.3% from the free throw line.
