The Run 4 Roses Classic and Championship took place in Louisville on July 10-15, 2025. This is a live period event that brought in nearly 3,000 teams and over 2,000 college coaches. Throughout the tournament, as I was walking around to different courts, I took notes of players that stood out to me. Below you can see some of the 2027 players that caught my eye. These are listed in alphabetical order by last name.

Alyssa Arlinghaus

Lady Gym Rats 16U EYCL

Such great instincts on both ends of the court. Effective running any guard position. Really good shooter, strong handles, sees the floor well. Was very disruptive defensively whether that was getting into the passing lanes, applying good pressure, coming up with steals/deflections, etc.

Kayley Benningfield

Kentucky Premier 16 EYBL

Benningfield has such a smooth jumper. Knocked down a quick pull-up in transition. Made some nice hustle plays.

Brynn Brickey

2027 Lexington Crossover La Familia

Long and active. Disruptive defender who can also make you pay at all 3 levels on the offensive end, including clutch 3’s and free throws. Made some really great passes through traffic.

Lily Carr

2026 Missouri Select

Aaliyah Cheek

2026 Lady Aces NE2K

Very quick with the ball and can maneuver through traffic with ease. Can finish tough shots around the basket and knock down outside shots. Had some nice blocks too.

Mariella Claybrook

2027 TN Flight Silver E40

Claybrook has really come into her own, and the flashes she has always shown of being a special player are now on full-time display. Great moves to score on both sides of the basket & in the paint. Can score at all 3 levels, delivered great passes, and had a ton of rebounds.

Brooklyn Cole

Kentucky Premier 17U NE2K

Had a great hesi that consistently allowed Cole to get a step on defenders. Strong finishes at the rim on drives including with contact.

Gianna "Gigi" Conklin-Jones

2027 ECU Team Richardson E40

Piper Cotham

Lady Gym Rats 16U EYCL

Excellent PG skills. Plays hard every second she’s on the court. True 3-level scoring threat and can get crafty on finishes around the basket/in the paint.
