The Run 4 Roses Classic and Championship took place in Louisville on July 10-15, 2025. This is a live period event that brought in nearly 3,000 teams and over 2,000 college coaches. Throughout the tournament, as I was walking around to different courts, I took notes of players that stood out to me. Below you can see some of the 2028 & 2029 players that caught my eye. These are listed in alphabetical order by last name.
Had some really nice blocks both on the players she was defending and stepping over in help defense. Got in good positions when posting up.
Long and active defender. Timed blocks well and was able to alter shots using her length. Super versatile overall and can score inside or out.
Can knock down shots from deep quickly but defense has to respect her ability to put the ball on the floor and drive to the basket. Had multiple blocks on the defensive end even against bigger players.
Shifty moves to get to the basket and finish around defenders. Good shooter. Saw the floor well in transition.
Great drives to the basket. Drew help defense on drives and delivered some great passes. Good ball handler.
Got to the game a little late, but as soon as I walked up, Thacker threw a beautiful pass and continued to make great passes throughout the game. Love the decision-making and high IQ plays. Moved well without the ball.
Long frame allows Wright to effectively defend all positions. Made good moves in the paint to create space from defenders and knocked down outside shots. Crashed the boards hard and just showed a ton of potential only being a 2028.
