Run 4 Roses is one of the largest girl’s basketball tournaments around. It brings in thousands of teams from the US and beyond. We walked around the 80+ courts at the Kentucky Expo Center for three days taking note of players who stood out to us. When we say stand out, we really mean someone who caught our eye for one reason or another. That may be a team’s best player or it may be a player whose effort made it impossible for us to not notice them. Below you can read about some of those players that stood out to us throughout the event.

Please note: Some of the write-ups below were already featured on X (@riseupsports1) during the event. Please let us know if any of the information below is incorrect and we will get it fixed as soon as possible.

KaMyra Barber

2025 B2B Elite Bluejays E40 | Class of 2025
Very controlled and trustworthy with the ball. Loves to create and make plays for teammates but can also score it herself. Made some nice passes through traffic. Rebounded well.

Samiyah Barker

2025 Carolina All-Stars E40 | Class of 2025
Really makes her defender work by constantly moving without the ball. Ran the point well but also did a good job off the ball. Quick feet and applied good pressure defensively – frustrated whoever she was guarding. Nice handles and can knock down the outside shot.

Nike Borg

2025 Drillo Basketball | Class of 2025
Good size. Nice shot, court vision, and passing allows her to be effective inside or out offensively. Isn’t afraid to get physical on defense. Makes it hard for post players to keep their balance on post ups. Had some good blocks.

Brittany Campbell

2025 Richmond Heat Campbell | Class of 2025
High IQ. Great passes. Reads the passing lanes well. Can score at all 3 levels including creating shots off the dribble.

Greta Dillinger

2025 Pure Prep E40 | Class of 2025
Smart plays. Was thinking a play ahead and knew where to deliver the pass once she got it. Also a very good shooter with good range. Immediately picked up defensively and recognized when to step over in help D.

Symone Harrell

2025 Greater Purpose Athletics | Class of 2024
Very high motor. Good court vision. Can score from all three levels. Doesn’t have to have the ball to make an impact. Great basketball IQ allows her to create plays out of nothing. When her shots weren’t falling she found a way to get her teammates involved.

Megan Herriott

2025 Ohio Future McClain NE2K | Class of 2025
Good length. Made some great shot fakes around the basket to make defense jump and finished well at the rim/in the paint. Set strong screens. Rebounded well. Can block or alter shots defensively.

Kelsey Holt

2025 ETA Thunder Sizemore | Class of 2025
Very composed offensively. Nice drives to get into the paint. Good shooter. Crashed the boards hard. Used length to be disruptive defensively.

Michelle Jellison

2025 Legendz Williams | Class of 2025
3 level scoring threat. Love the competitive energy and fight. Scored some tough buckets and handled the physicality around the basket & on drives. Strong passes.

Tiana Long

2025 Richmond Heat Campbell | Class of 2025
Nice job scoring at all 3 levels and recognizing where to cut. Active defensively. In a lop-sided game, she kept the energy and effort up.

Brooke Spychalski

2025 PINK ELITE National Puma NXT | Class of 2025
Can knock them down from deep but very poised overall. Doesn’t force and makes a lot of smart plays. Cuts hard and with a purpose. Can do a little bit of everything. Very impressed by the control and recognition she has. High IQ.

Jahanna Wilson

2025 MS All-N South E40 | Class of 2025
Excellent speed. Beat other players to the ball on multiple occasions. Ran the floor well. Made good passes anticipating where teammates were going rather than throwing it behind them. Showed ability to run PG or play off the ball.

Logan Young

2025 CyFair Elite OKC E40 | Class of 2025
Stays active without the ball and makes all the right cuts. Crashes the boards at a very high level. Utilizes the post to her advantage. Active hands on defense that allows her to disrupt the opposing offense. Overall highly impactful player for her team.
