Run 4 Roses is one of the largest girl’s basketball tournaments around. It brings in thousands of teams from the US and beyond. We walked around the 80+ courts at the Kentucky Expo Center for three days taking note of players who stood out to us. When we say stand out, we really mean someone who caught our eye for one reason or another. That may be a team’s best player or it may be a player whose effort made it impossible for us to not notice them. Below you can read about some of those players that stood out to us throughout the event.

Please note: Some of the write-ups below were already featured on X (@riseupsports1) during the event. Also please take into account that each of us only caught one game per team for the most part, so these notes were based on performance in that specific game. Please let us know if any of the information below is incorrect and we will get it fixed as soon as possible.

Excellent range. Quick release. Relocated well without the ball. Made very smart plays overall and really was making a big impact from start to finish.

Caroline Barnes

2025 Louisville Lady Aces | Class of 2025
Scored at all 3 levels. Great job attacking the basket and finishing in crafty ways at the rim. Pull-up jumper looked good and quick, high release. Love the aggressive scoring mentality.

Reese Beaty

Kentucky Premier 17U EYBL | Class of 2025
Very high IQ. Doesn’t get rattled and plays with a lot of composure. Sees the court so well and recognizes where to attack the defense. Can score herself (and can score in a variety of ways) but constantly looks to create for teammates.

Easy to see why she’s a top 2025 player in the country. 3 level scoring threat who made some really smart plays. Wasn’t forcing and showed great recognition of where the gaps were in the defense. Uses her length to constantly cause problems for opposing team. Good shot blocker.

Natalie Chisi

2025 AUSA Australia Team Trey | Class of 2025
Great job on the offensive boards. Even when the put back didn’t fall, she stuck with it and it felt like she got her hands on the ball every time it came off the rim.

Lauren Hurst

2025 ETA Thunder Fire Campos | Class of 2025
Consistently found ways to score even with the defense putting a heavy focus on her. Versatile on both ends of the court. Does a good job recognizing where defense is and changing up the ways she finishes at the rim. Despite having the potential to score herself on every possession, she’s unselfish and always looking to get her teammates involved.

Very solid overall. Used length to make things tough defensively. Showed a lot of versatility. Can score inside or out. Good strength.
