Run 4 Roses is one of the largest girl’s basketball tournaments around. It brings in thousands of teams from the US and beyond. We walked around the 80+ courts at the Kentucky Expo Center for six days taking note of players who stood out to us. When we say stand out, we really mean someone who caught our eye for one reason or another. That may be a team’s best player or it may be a player whose effort made it impossible for us to not notice them. Below you can read about some of those players that stood out to us throughout the event.

Please note: Some of the write-ups below were already featured on X (@riseupsports1) during the event. Also please take into account that each of us only caught one game per team for the most part, so these notes were based on performance in that specific game. Please let us know if any of the information below is incorrect and we will get it fixed as soon as possible.

Love the hustle and energy. Athletic finishes around the basket. Crashes the boards strong.

Carley Boyd

2026 Rise Up | Class of 2027
Tough defensive assignment for opposing teams because of her ability to score inside and out. Good length. Got her hands on the ball a lot defensively.

Callie Decker

Reads the passing lanes well defensively and has great hands. Can finish in crafty ways around the basket. Runs the floor. Just makes really good reads in general and love the high energy she plays with.

Elle Deegan

2027 Duval Elite | Class of 2027
Lefty with a good outside shot. Finds ways to impact the game consistently beyond scoring. Smart passer. Good movement on the arc without the ball.

Harper Dunn

Mokan Elite 15U EYBL | Class of 2027
Elite height and length for a D1, Power 5 post player.  Runs the floor exceptionally well on both offensive and defensive transition.  Plays “big” maximizing her size.  Nice jump shot, and soft touch around the rim.  Excellent footwork.  High IQ player with a high motor.  Only starting to scratch the surface of how good she will become!

TOUGH. Can handle a lot of physicality and fights hard on both ends of the court. Versatile scoring threat. Made some nice hustle plays and never have to question the effort she’s giving.

Excellent recognition of when to pull it out and get her team set up on offense. Handled pressure well. Plays hard and consistently runs the floor. Nice shot and ball fakes. Made good drives and finished well in the paint.

Haley Williamson

2027 Always 100 Skills | Class of 2027
Nice floor general skills. Kept head up and on a swivel. Low handles and good recognition of where to move without the ball. Attacked the defense but didn’t force shots that weren’t there. Good jump stops and passes.
